Summary: Sometimes Daisuke has to get away.
When I want to spend some time by myself, I go to the human world. No one knows I’m there, I can spend time listening to the sounds of a human city. I have apartments in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. It’s very different to hear the sound of droning insects, not the sounds of lost shadows whipping around in the streets.
I don’t mean to have such a secret spot, but in my line of work I need a place where I can relax for a while.
What I do? I’m sorry, I can’t tell you that. I can tell you that sometimes it’s not very pleasant. I take a vacation whenever I can. Sometimes I like to get away from everything; to be in a city where no one knows my name is nice. I’m aware that there are other creatures in disguise, like me, but as long as they keep their distance, I will keep mine.
Once I’ve collected my thoughts I’m ready to go back and face the world.
…I’m not ready to face my thoughts about Claire though.
I don’t think I ever will be.
